ITE appoints Luis Pizarro Teno as new Director General

Integración Tecnológica Empresarial (ITE), a leading company in services in the areas of Defense, Engineering and Cybersecurity, announces the appointment of Luis Pizarro Teno as CEO of the company.

Since joining the company in July 2023, Luis Pizarro has assumed the general management of the group, taking responsibility for the objectives, results and profitability of the three business units that make up the backbone of the company: Defense, Engineering and Cybersecurity.

In close collaboration with the current CEO and president of the group Oven Martín, Pizarro will direct and lead the corporate strategies and objectives, defining the necessary resources to carry them out successfully, as well as to consolidate the group’s growth.

Pizarro is a Naval Technical Engineer in Ship Structures from the University of Cádiz and a master’s degree in Engineering Organization and Management of Industrial Plants from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

During his professional career, which spans more than four decades, Pizarro has held positions of responsibility and management in the former CASA-EADS, currently AIRBUS, where he was industrial manager of the Horizontal Stabilizer of the A-380 Aircraft at the Puerto Real plant (Cádiz). Subsequently, he managed the Illescas plant, in Toledo, with the launch and industrialization of the wing and tail section of the A-350 aircraft. Pizarro was in charge of this center for 5 years.
In 2013, he was appointed director of the AIRBUS plant in Getafe (Madrid), for its commercial aircraft division with responsibility for delivering large aerostructures to the final assembly lines in Toulouse (France) and Hamburg (Germany). During his last year at the company, he served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Airbus Operations in Spain.
In 2016, he joined the company Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos S.A. of the MyM Group, a firm dedicated to the manufacture of metal components for aerostructures with customers and aircraft manufacturers worldwide.
