We inaugurate a new Cybersecurity operations center in the Community of Madrid

These facilities, which will be dedicated exclusively to the company’s Cybersecurity unit, will depend on the central offices that are maintained in Getafe. At the inauguration ceremony of this new centre, ITE was attended by Patricia Ortiz, Director of Institutional Relations at Invest in Madrid, representing the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid, as an example of the commitment that the Community is making to new technologies and cybersecurity. the promotion of job creation and attraction of talent in this area.
With this move, ITE provides an effective, fast and solid response to the growth that its Cybersecurity division is experiencing in Spain, in general, and in particular, to the growing demand for this service in the industrial sector. In addition, it addresses its talent recruitment needs in order to meet the growing needs of the market, and to increase the excellence of the services it offers. In this way, it increases its capacity compared to the facilities that the company already has in the Community of Madrid.
ITE closed the 2022 financial year with a turnover of 14.5 million euros, and the forecasts for this year are to experience a growth of 23%, with 22% corresponding to the Cybersecurity unit.
ITE’s new operations centre is located in the Square Garden complex of the Rivas Futura business park, and has an area of 220 m2 with possibilities of expansion in the future. Located at 9 Marie Curie Street – Building B – Office 105, it is a new office concept based on flexibility and efficiency, and designed to provide employees with an ideal working environment.
These facilities house a team currently made up of 35 technical experts in cybersecurity, and the company expects that within two years the workforce will have doubled depending on the needs and development of projects.
With the new opening of this operations centre, the organisation is also boosting its strategic investment in the Community of Madrid, betting on attracting talent specialised in STEAM (Engineering, Science and Technology) profiles that are in high demand in Madrid, a national benchmark in the transformation of its industrial and technological fabric.

Hosting an OT SOC, one of the main ones is projects
Currently, cybercriminals have placed a greater focus on cyberattacks on industries and critical infrastructures, and the operations area (OT) is not immune to this situation. ITE, as an expert in cybersecurity for the industrial sector, offers effective responses to this situation covering the entire cycle of practices, processes and technologies.
For this reason, and in view of the growing demand for cyber protection in this area, one of the company’s priority projects in these new facilities will be to house a Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC) specialized in OT, in order to serve current and potential customers, offering a complete variety of solutions and services through a qualified team of professionals.
In this area, ITE provides comprehensive industrial cybersecurity solutions that range from diagnostic operations to technical security consulting for IT/OT infrastructures, industrial cybersecurity management systems, deployment of industry-specific security technologies, SOC IT/OT support and managed services, among others.
