We created an independent department, the Intelligence Unit
Enterprise Technology Integration (ITE) announces the launch of its Intelligence Unit. Recently created, it will be led by Fernando Flores, BU Intelligence & BU Tallent Services Director at ITE.
In a world that is increasingly interconnected and vulnerable to global threats, cyber intelligence services have become essential for security and stability. With conflicts and cyberwars on the rise, organizations must police spaces such as the dark web and satellite communications environments, where cybercriminals operate outside the reach of conventional networks.
“Know ahead of time what they were planning, to act accordingly and be able to protect themselves”

Recently, the creation of the new Intelligence Unit in Business Technological Integration S.L. has been carried out, which originated by separating the cyber intelligence activities of the Cybersecurity Unit to form an independent department. On the occasion of its launch, Fernando Jesús Flores Moya, director of the area, tells us about the main activities to which its solutions are directed.
“These cyber intelligence services make it possible to monitor, analyze and investigate illicit activities in real time, anticipating cyberattacks, fraud or leaks of critical information,” says Flores. “By doing so, governments, businesses, and citizens are protected from the risks posed by advanced crime networks, adapting to an increasingly complex digital landscape.”
The director of ITE’s Intelligence Unit highlights the key benefits of its cyber intelligence solutions, designed to offer comprehensive and proactive protection against threats. “Our experience allows us to anticipate and provide an additional layer of security, with advanced analytics and technologies that ensure accurate and up-to-date data for our customers,” he explains. In addition, ITE’s solutions protect corporate reputation, eliminating false and malicious content on the network, and ensure the integrity of communications through encrypted networks and malware protection measures on mobile devices and computers.
Where are your threats and who is planning them?
The answer is not only limited to direct attacks in cybersecurity, but also to attempts to steal information or even damage an organization’s reputation. “Understanding what is being forged and how it moves in that environment is crucial to anticipate. To do this, it is essential to access both open networks and the hidden world of the dark web, using tools that detect these risks in time,” says Fernando, who also stresses that “it is an area that requires advanced technological solutions, a great effort in Artificial Intelligence, which allows large volumes of information to be controlled and facilitates the identification of dangers and an effective response before they become damage.”
Main solutions
- Strategic intelligence,
- Reputational research,
- Secure communications,
- Exclusive intelligence systems for government agencies,
- “Intelligence as a Service”, which saves companies from the need to create their own internal intelligence department.
To implement these solutions, the first step is always to carry out a detailed consultancy. The right strategy starts with understanding the customer: knowing their specific problems, concerns and risks. Only after this analysis can advice be given on the most effective technologies and tools in each case. “This consultative approach demands a specialized professional profile, with consulting skills and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, trained to identify threats and propose personalized preventive actions that strengthen the security and resilience of the organization,” says Flores.
“If you want to be protected today, it is not enough for you to put a wall around your castle,” concludes the director of the ITE Intelligence Unit.
