ITE strengthens its international presence during a business mission to Brussels focused on aeronautics, defence and cybersecurity
Integración Tecnológica Empresarial (ITE) took part on 10 and 11 December in a business mission to Brussels, organised to promote cooperation between Spanish and Belgian entities in the fields of aeronautics, aerospace, defence and cybersecurity.
The ITE delegation was represented by Rosa Gil Ramírez, Director of Marketing and Communication, and Rafael Mena, Head of International Business Development, who followed an intensive agenda of professional meetings, technical visits and strategic engagements with companies and key institutions within Wallonia’s technological ecosystem.
The initiative, known as the Jornadas de Contacto (Contact Days), was organised by Andalucía TRADE in collaboration with Wallonia-Brussels International and the Government of Wallonia, with the aim of strengthening relations between both territories through a direct delegation of companies operating in Spain. The mission unfolded across several strategic locations in the region, including CRM Group in Liège, the Einstein Telescope in Amos, the SONACA plant in Charleroi, the A6K industrial and digital hub, and the Multitel research centre in Mons. For this purpose, two sectoral groups were formed – one focused on defence and the other on aeronautics – with ITE participating due to its capacity to deliver solutions in engineering, advanced manufacturing and applied cybersecurity.
Over the two-day mission, the ITE delegation had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into Wallonia’s industrial, technological and innovation capabilities, as well as to explore potential synergies for future bilateral projects.

The first day began with the official inauguration of the mission at CRM Group, followed by networking sessions and B2B meetings with several Belgian companies. The delegation then visited the Einstein Telescope in Amos and took part in a working lunch at the technology centre. The afternoon continued with a specialised tour of the Land Defence Group, which included presentations on weapons, vehicles and embedded systems, before closing the day with an institutional dinner between the Spanish and Belgian delegations in Namur.
The second day commenced with a visit to SONACA Charleroi, one of the leading global players in aerostructures. Later, the delegation travelled to the A6K technology hub, where representatives from A6K, Cenaero and the Cyber Defense Factory delivered a formal welcome and outlined the scope of Wallonia’s industrial and digital ecosystem. The agenda continued with a tour of SIRRIS’s additive manufacturing laboratory and cybersecurity facilities, followed by additional B2B meetings with key companies and organisations in the sector. The mission concluded at Multitel, a cutting-edge research centre specialising in ICT, artificial intelligence and security solutions.

Following this institutional agenda, the mission also served to reinforce relationships with a wide representation of Spanish industry attending the event in Brussels. In the Defence group, participants included companies specialising in engineering, electronics, technological consultancy and industrial services such as Anzen Aerospace, DOIT Development, EM&E Group, Rodisa, Grupo Oesía, Indra, MADES, Madrid Space, Pixelshub, RDT, SATEC, Sener, Solute, AIMPLAS, ASTUREX and FemetalIndustry, among others. The Aeronautics group included leading companies in aerostructures, advanced materials, laboratories and technological services, industrial manufacturing and research centres, such as Accuro Technology, Aernnova, Aytana, Canagrosa Lab&Services, CiTD Engineering, Danobat, DHV Technology, GECI Española Industry, Indaero, Novaindef, Titania, AIMPLAS, Andalucía Aerospace, the CSIC, Eurecat and Tecnalia, as well as institutional representatives and sectoral agents linked to the aerospace ecosystem. Within this framework, ITE participated as part of both the defence and aeronautics groups, contributing its expertise in engineering, advanced manufacturing and technological integration.
Through this mission, ITE strengthens its firm commitment to international development and to building technological partnerships that foster new opportunities in Europe, reinforcing its role as a strategic player in the aeronautical, industrial and defence sectors.
