ITE and OMICRON strengthen their international projection through an aerospace sector business mission in Hamburg
Integración Tecnológica Empresarial and OMICRON Mechanical & Engineering Services have taken part in a business mission in Germany aimed at promoting industrial and technological cooperation among companies within the European aerospace sector.
Both companies were part of the business delegation that travelled to Hamburg as part of the international aerospace mission organised by Andalucía TRADE, in collaboration with Andalucía Aerospace, Invest in Andalucía and Hamburg Aviation, with the objective of fostering new opportunities for industrial cooperation between Spanish and German companies in one of the main aeronautical hubs in Europe.
The delegation included Rosa Gil Ramírez, Marketing and Communications Director, and Rafael Mena, Head of International Business Development, who participated in an intensive agenda of professional meetings, B2B sessions and networking activities with companies, technology centres and institutional organisations from the German aerospace ecosystem.
The mission took place at the ZAL TechCenter in Hamburg, a leading European centre for applied aviation research. During the event, companies from across the entire aerospace value chain were present, ranging from aerostructure manufacturing and high-precision machining to engineering, safety-critical electronics, testing, certification, specialised logistics and advanced technological services.

In this context, the participating companies held bilateral meetings with German firms in order to explore potential lines of collaboration in international aerospace programmes, as well as in innovation, development and industrialisation projects.
“These kinds of meetings are essential to consolidate the international strategy of our companies. They allow us to showcase our capabilities in engineering, advanced manufacturing and technological solutions, while opening new avenues for cooperation with European companies that share our vision of innovation, quality and industrial development.”

As part of the official agenda, which also included technical visits to major companies in the sector, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the German Aerospace Center (DLR), as well as Airbus facilities in Hamburg, one of the main aircraft production centres in Europe, and other group facilities in Stade, where advanced industrial processes in composite materials linked to major international programmes are carried out.

““During the visit to AIRBUS in Hamburg we had the opportunity to tour several hangars and production areas where final aircraft assembly processes take place, as well as attend technical presentations on their industrial programmes. We later visited the company’s facilities in Stade, where we were able to see first-hand the high technological and organisational level of a Tier-1 reference in composite materials. These kinds of experiences are especially valuable to identify opportunities for collaboration and to understand the real scope of major European aerospace programmes,” said Rosa Gil Ramírez.
During the mission, the Spanish delegation held meetings with companies and organisations involved in international OEM and Tier-1 programmes, in an environment aimed at encouraging the development of joint projects and the exchange of knowledge among the different players in the European aerospace industry.
“The mission has been highly productive from a strategic point of view. Hamburg is one of the major aeronautical centres in Europe, and participating in initiatives like this allows us to position both Integración Tecnológica Empresarial and OMICRON in international environments where new industrial and technological cooperation opportunities are defined. We would especially like to thank Andalucía TRADE, Andalucía Aerospace and Hamburg Aviation for the excellent organisation and for promoting this type of business meeting”, said Rafael Mena
With this participation, Integración Tecnológica Empresarial and OMICRON Mechanical & Engineering Services reinforce their commitment to internationalisation and to the development of strategic alliances in Europe, consolidating their role as technological partners in the aerospace, industrial and defence sectors, while expanding their presence in high-value technological environments where the industrial programmes of the future are being shaped.
