Annual Calibration of PAPI Systems at ADP

Overview

ADP, a leader in airport management, has entrusted Integración Tecnológica Empresarial (ITE) with the calibration of Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) systems across its entire network of airports. Under a 7-year contract, with three successful years of execution already completed, the fourth year of inspections is now underway. ADP recognizes ITE’s CANARD solution as a strategic partner in maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Characteristics
Client: ADP
Service: Calibration of PAPI systems across all ADP managed airports
Contract: 7 years (annual inspections)
Current Status: 3 years completed; entering the 4th.

Challenge

PAPI systems are critical for providing accurate visual guidance during aircraft approach and takeoff phases. Poor calibration can jeopardize airport safety. ADP required a solution that delivered:

  • Operational Flexibility: Rapid deployment without disrupting daily airport operations.
  • Sustainability: Eco-efficient technology to minimize carbon footprint.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Alignment with international safety standards (ICAO Doc. 9157).
  • Resource Optimization: Cost reduction through process automation.

ADP-managed airports included in the contract:

  • Aéroport de Paris-Charles de Gaulle
  • Aéroport de Paris-Orly
  • Aéroport de Paris-Le Bourget
  • Aéroport de Paris-Versailles-Chantiers
  • Aéroport de Paris-Pontoise
